Well, it took me by total suprise that anyone actually donated anything to help me keep those cams running this winter.

The good news is $495.00 was donated.

Most of that money went towards bandwidth, some of it went towards fixing the river cam with a new part as the river cam seems to be everyone's favorite.

You have proven to me that some people actually care about all the work I do and like the cams.

Anyway, all the cams are currently working and will be left on for the rest of the winter. (well, until something breaks.. LOL)

Also, this summer I hope to work out some deals to set up additional river view cams. The cameras I want are pretty expensive but they are really really awesome. Imagine a webcam where you get to pick from a bunch of preset views. Everyone gets a turn playing with it (60 seconds per request) and it automatically moves around and zooms in or out depending on the views that are set up. Also imagine much higher quality than anything I have setup now and extremely powerful zooming capabilities. We'll see what happens.. those are my plans eventually.
