This is all news from the forums..

On Saturday, October 6th, the ACS Booster Club will sponsor the 2nd Annual Homecoming Parade.  The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. leaving the High School parking lot and heading down Walton to Market, then left onto James, and left onto Church heading back up to Catherine/Cornwall, through the rink parking lot and back to school.  There we will complete the judging for the group/class/team with the most spirit and disperse.  The ACS Cheerleaders will lead the parade.

The activities continue with a tailgate party outside at the lower gym entrance.  We will have Jammin Jimmy, a DJ from 12:30 to 2:30 and the Booster Bus concession stand will be open from 12:30 on.  We will be serving pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage burgers, sno cones, popcorn and more.  We hope to have activities to keep everyone busy until the games begins at 3:00.  The Varsity Football team plays Thousand Islands and the Varsity Boys Soccer Team play Sackets.  Both games begin at 3:00.  We will have a 50/50 raffle with the drawing a half time of the football game and we will begin the Birthday Calendar sale on that day as well.  Bring the whole family and enjoy a gorgeous day at ACS and support the kids and your school.

The ACS Booster Club Birthday Calendar Sale starts Sat. at the Homecoming Game.  A table will be set up at the game from 12:30 on.  Elementary students will be bringing the forms home starting Monday, October 8th.  The price of the calendar this year is $8.00 with 5 free names/listings.  Each additional listing is .50 cents.  Forms will be available at school and can be picked up and dropped off with Mrs. Durand in the Elementary office.  Contact people are Jean Side at 482-3053, Peggy Millett at 482-2535, Marilou Williams at 681-8279 and Verik Probst at

482-7715.  Anyone wishing to advertise on the calendar this year may contact one of the above people as well.

We have tentatively secured a Dunking Booth.  Come dunk Mr. Hochmuth, Mr. Plantz, Mr. Campany, & Board Member Greg Millett!  We are hoping to have a Jumping Gym for the smaller kids as well.  Make it a family event and then stay to cheer on the Varsity Football & Varsity Boys Soccer Team!
