As you may have noticed abaynews.com was down for almost 2 days.  During a backup one of the hard drives in the server died and the Raid system completely failed. Typical shit that happens to me. After driving to Syracuse to bring the server home to work on it I discovered that one of the drives developed bad blocks. After doing some fancy data recovery and going over last weeks back up I ended up not losing anything critical, but putting humpty dumpty back together again is no easy task. abaynews.com is not your grandmother's web site. There is a lot of dynamic activity and crucial back end systems involved with a site like this. Add in the fact that I have about 22 other sites to get working as well and it is a big nightmare. I have barely slept these past two days and I am doing my best to get everything going again. I just took the rebuilt server back to syracuse. Please be patient. It will be a couple days before everything is right again. Also, please don't bother posting anything anwhere or sending in emails. Your posts will most likely get over-ridden and I won't get the emails as I still have to get my email server going again. Via the rebuilt setup the site is running much faster and I have set things up in such a way that hopefully I can get things up and running much faster the next time something bad happens.. ARGGGG --- I HATE COMPUTERS... Best Regards, Johnny..
