'The Jefferson County Egan Murders: Nightmare on New Year's Eve 1964'.
If you have never heard of the Egans and the triple murder at the reststop in Watertown on New Years Eve 1964 then you are missing out on an amazing although horrific story. The crazy life of the Egan family alone is enough to keep you glued to the pages for days, add to that their brutal murder and the mystery that has surrounded it all these years and you have a book that's just hard to put down.
It should also be mentioned that Daniel Boyer did not write the book alone. Dave Shampine was his co-author and if anyone can recall Dave authored another North Country Murder Mystery titled.. 'The North Country Murder of Irene Izak'. Dave Shampine is no stranger to Local Murder Mysteries and the Boyer/Shampine teamup aims to please..
