"The Alex Bay Stallions PeeWee Cheerleaders competed yesterday in Utica, NY and received First Place at the Empire State Classic Cheer Competition. This marks the third competition for these girls this season. On October 12th, the team competed at the annual General Brown Fall Fest and received First Place in their division. October 20th the girls competed in their League Pop Warner Competition where they also won First Place, earning themselves a spot at the Regional Competition, November 10th in Trenton, New Jersey.

The Alex Bay Stallions Mitey Mite Cheerleaders have also been attending competitions with the PeeWees and have done extremely well also, although they are considered non-competitive because of their ages. The Mitey Mites will be attending The Pop Warner National Cheer and Dance Championships at ESPN's Wide World of Sports at Disney World on December 7th.

This is the second year the program for the Cheerleaders has been running and it has come leaps and bounds from where it started, due to the hard work and dedication of the coaching staff, board members and the Community. These girls have worked incredibly hard this season and have given us all another reason to be proud of our little town on the River."
