The man in the photo above is Jon Proctor from Tennis Island.. he is also known as "Pineapple".. I met him about 6 years ago. He's a great guy.

This past Saturday an elderly gentleman from Pt. Vivian fell in the water at the Upper James Street Docks in Alexandria Bay.. Struggling and taking in water Jon Proctor jumped in without hesitation and rescued the man..

Jon's been very humble regarding the whole situation, but had this to say..
"I thought he was going to drown, just doing what just comes naturally"

Jon also said he received a message from the man's wife thanking him.

That being said, Id' just like to say I am proud to have Jon Proctor as a friend.. Nice job buddy! You rock! "Johnny Truesdell"

UPDATE: THE RED CROSS HAS TAKEN NOTICE OF PINEAPPLE HE HAS BEEN NOMINATED FOR A REAL HEROES AWARD
