"For anyone that hasn't already heard yet, this is the last year for The Ledges Motel and Marina in Alexandria Bay, NY. It was our 50th summer in business, and the last for the motel. It was opened by my grandparents in 1963. Our family has made the decision to close, and we will be taking the building down this fall. We are having an auction to sell the contents on Tuesday October 22nd, 2013 at 10 am. We will still be doing seasonal dockage, and renting the floating houses. It was a tough decision. But, it is definitely the right one for us moving forward. Our employees and customers have truly become an extended family. We thank everyone for all of the support throughout the years."
