Live music by well-known vocalist and musicians Ferguson and Rogers

Entering its fifth year, the Festival has become a popular fall outing for area residents and out-of-town visitors wanting to enjoy New York State wines and foods as well as the bright colors of autumn.

The festival will once again feature wines from the 1000 Islands and Finger Lakes regions of New York. Visitors are encouraged to sample the selections and buy their favorites. Local foods including cheddar cheeses, maple candies, gourmet sauces and honey are also available for sampling and purchase. Agriculture products including goat’s milk soaps and alpaca clothing will also be on display and available. Alpacas and goats will once again be present to entertain children and educate adults on New York State agriculture.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy all these products and listen to live music by well-known vocalist and musicians Ferguson and Rogers in the outdoor picnic like atmosphere on Heart Island.

“We are always delighted at how many residents of Jefferson County, NY and the counties of Leeds and Grenville, ON attend the festival. With local wines, local foods, local Ag products and 1000 Islands residents in attendance, the festival really has a sense of community,” said Shane Sanford, Director of Boldt Facilities. “In addition our regular out-of-town visitors are pleasantly surprised to have the chance to enjoy 1000 Islands and NYS products during their visit to Boldt Castle.”

Last year’s festival greeted over 2,500 visitors to Heart Island.
