After an aggressive and lengthy International Search for a buyer, the tower was sold to Konrad and Heidi Linckh from Germany.Longtime owners Leonard Stratford and his wife Jean are ready to retire after more than 30 years of hosting visitors to the Skydeck from around the world. The tower was built in 1965. The new owners, Konrad and Heidi Linckh came to visit the 1000 Islands and fell in love with its charm. They are a young family, who searched the region for more than 2 years for their dream come true opportunity and now they are ready to put their passion to work."
