Bryan Tidd (Alexandria Bay) Gets New Lungs !!

Bryan Tidd of Alexandria Bay has finally received the lung transplant he's been waiting for. He had successful surgery yesterday in New York City. Below are updates from his wife Leah.

Well, it's time. Bry is going into surgery as we speak and will wake up with a new set of lungs! Ill try to keep updates coming but surgery will take 9 hrs or so. Thanks so much fr everyone's support and prayers!

Update: Bry's surgery went very well. The Dr said "it couldn't have gone better". Joe and I are waiting to see him and should be able to in abt an hr. thanks soo much for all the support. Again, ill try to answer texts, etc., but pls understand that there's a lot going on right now and I may be tied up for a bit. Soooo thankful and well worth all the false alarms and waiting! :))) —


And for those of you that don't know the situation..


Bryan's ongoing battle with Cystic Fibrosis just got to the point where he really needed a lung transplant to continue on. His lungs had had it and Bryan had to get on the list A.S.A.P. He also couldn't work anymore.. That being said we "his friends" had a few benefits to keep him afloat until this day would come and now all we can do is pray and wait.. Our friend Bryan is tough, he's a fighter, he'll pull through this..

Especially if he keeps humming his theme song..
