There are three Free New York State Snowmobile Courses being offered. The first course will be held at Hammond Central School on November 6 & 7th starting at 6 pm. On November 27 & 28th there will another Snowmobile Course being held at the Copley House in Chaumont, starting at 6 pm. The final Snowmobile Course will also be held at the Copley House on January 15 & 16th starting at 6 pm. This course is required for ages 10 up to 17 to operate a snowmobile off of your own personal property. This course is also free for adults ages 18 and above and may be used towards an insurance discount. To register for the course please call Gary Kocher at 315-486-5230.
