When I told my friend Steve Cavallario about the fire at Ray Savages house the night before last I could tell another fire was lit, before I knew it Steve was handing me a check for $500.00 from  from the Alexandria Bay Chapter of the Betterment Foundation and couple of Top of The Bay pizza night out gift certificates for Ray and his family. He really surpised me as all I was hoping for was a couple pizzas or something.

So here is what we have so far for Ray and the family..

A $500.00 check from the Alexandria Bay Chapter of the Betterment Foundation.. that money was raised during last year's Scooter raffle at Top of The Bay and they decided yesterday to use it to help Ray Savage and his family.. Steve Cavallario is one of the members of the local chapter.

(2 Gift Certificates for Cavs Pizza/ Top of The Bay)
Each certificate good for 3 large pizzas and 3 pitchers of soda

(1 Gift Certificate for Beefers Burgers & Ice Cream)
Food, drinks, and Ice Cream for Ray, His Wife, and the Kids.. whatever they want..

Donations can be left at the Alexandria Central School or the local Fire Departments
