I have heard from what I consider many reliable sources that Eric Spies passed away last night.. Eric was a Redwood/Abayer through and through.. he loved the river as we all do.

Though a bit older than myself I was lucky enough to get to know Eric later on in life..

I grow tired of saying farewell to friends.. grow tired of shedding tears for the good ones..
Peace.. my brotha.. I'll very much miss seeing ya around..

Calling hours will be held 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 29, at the Costello Funeral Home, Alexandria Bay.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Redwood Fire Department.
