Thousand Islands Boating Safety Courses for 2012

Gary Cocher will be teaching a Free New York State Boating Safety Course at Alexandria Central School on March 19,20,21,22nd from 3 – 5 pm. The course is required for youth’s ages 10 – 18 to operate a boat without adult supervision, and is required for everyone ages 14 and above to operate a personal watercraft (jet ski). The course will be offered in room 246 (shop room) and involves working out of a book, hands on activities and video’s. To register for the course you can call Commander of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary in Alexandria Bay Gary Kocher at 486-5230 or sign up in the Main Office at the school. There will be twelve other courses being offered through out the summer. More info will be posted on this site as it is made available to us.
