I did see the real pictures, but I didn't have time to get a copy of them for the site.

I met a couple yesterday from Carnegie Bay Road in Alexandria Bay who lost their trailer during the storm. They are now living in a local motel. They are not the only local people who experienced major damage during the storm either. Wellesley Island, Krings Point, and many other areas were all hit badly by the storm. Near Krings point the term Microburst is being used to describe what happened and at one point this week there were around 15-20 utility crews on their way down there to assist so something pretty major obviously occured. I know this because I saw them all downtown getting quick a bite to eat before they headed down there.

Anyway. the couple I met had this message for everyone effected..

Hey everyone that experienced any damages on Tuesday contact "Jefferson County Emercency Managment ". @ 315-786-2654 we lost our trailor in Carnegie Bay...and contacted FEMA and they said if enough people call in to Jefferson County and let them them know about damages they'll let you know if any funds become available to aid in recovery...so if your reading this and you had any losses PLEASE take a minute and the number above.. we will all benefit from everyone reporting their damage to the county.. Thanks...Sandy Pickard.
