As many of you may know organizations such as Save The River are trying to stop the Asian Carp from getting into the waterways. In our case the waterway would be the Great Lakes and The Saint Lawrence River.

Now, in case you haven't heard... these Asian Carp eat all the plankton which starves other fish and disrupts the food chain. Many scientists say they could starve out popular species such as trout and salmon. The fish are also spooked by boat engines and hurtle out of the water like they're on crack when boaters are near. That being said... I've seen a few videos with flying carp in them but this one that Dave Berger sent in today was too good to ignore.

Keep in mind it's an old video from 2010 and the carp in the video are Silver Carp, but they're still a type of Asian carp and similar enough to to the kind that Save The River is concerned about if not the same thing altogether. I'm not an expert on this by any means so I'm not sure. I just know it would really suck if I had to start wearing a helmet while jet-skiing.
