Ok folks, let's face it..

Very few people can easily find either the town or the village web site. As far as I can tell neither the village or the town has done much to promote these sites to the public.

Well, I'm going to fix all that by having permanent links to both sites right on the top of abaynews.com where everyone can see them. For now those links look like the graphic below.

Perhaps this action will result in the Town and Village playing a more active role in keeping their websites updated.

In credit to the town their site seems up-to-date and informative. It's not pretty, but at least it has some decent information on it. The Village however really needs to get their ass in gear and work on their site once in a while. It's sad.

Both organizations at the very least should be using a $40.00 digital voice recorder at every meeting and uploading the mp3 audio file to their website each week. I mean seriously.. it takes no time and is really pretty darn easy to do.. If they need advice on how to do it I'd be glad to point them in the right direction.

Lastly...
(note to whoever who put a 1mb .png aerial image file at the top of the village site.. use a .jpg instead which will load 20 times faster for people and look just as good... and buy a good book on web design..)
