Overturned Fuel Oil Tanker (Pics & Video)

At about 9:00 AM today (April 21st) what appeared to be a Vock Company Fuel Oil Tanker overturned just outside of Alexandria Bay and Route 26.

Here is my Unofficial Report...

The Alexandria Bay Fire Department was on the scene right away, I believe the driver (70 year old Walter Wood of Alexandria Bay) was trapped and they used Vehicle extrication techniques to quickly remove him from the vehicle. The driver apparently had only minor injuries. If there was any fuel oil leakage or fire I did not see it.

Again, excellent response by all the emergency services..

UPDATE 6pm .. according to Walt's Son Matt Walt suffered a broken rib, but is otherwise ok.
