"the barn fire that killed 6 horses this weekend was at A&J Riding Stable. They are very nice folks and we sent tons of our summer customers over there to take the trail rides. Our customers always reported back that it was the friendliest stable with the best cared for horses they had ever taken the trail rides on. They served many tourists coming to the 1000 Islands each and every summer. I'm sure they are quite devastated at the loss. These horses were not just their business they were their life. They cared deeply for this horses. I am deeply saddened for them upon hearing this news. My online horse group may be trying to organize something to help them."
