So East Coast Taxi was supposed to be available all weekend for taxi service during the Hutch Tournament.. It was right on the event poster.



For a lot of people at the alumni event last night that meant they could do the right thing and not drink and drive at the end of the night... As a matter of fact many were counting on it.

However, just after 12:30 AM East Coast Taxi was no where to be found. When called they said they were too busy to pick up anyone that called from the Stables.

I know a large group of people managed to get a very nice girl to give them a ride home. Actually I should say "rides" because that girl made about 3 different trips for them. That girl worked very hard organizing this event and was probably tired as all heck at that point. She's a saint.

Unfortunatly some people probably took the chance and drove..

To be fair Eact Coast Taxi was around at one point. I saw them pick up a girl at Skiffs just after midnight. After that though it seems they called it quits as far as the Bay goes.

So what exactly happened? I'm not sure but it is unfortunate that it went down that way.
