According to the Wed, Dec 10, 2008 Edition of the Thousand Islands Sun the Riveredge Resort in Alexandria Bay, NY is closing for the winter..



It will be closing on January 2, 2009 and opening again on April 1st, 2009.

According to the article the Riveredge is basically saying that it is not financially feasible to stay open during the winter months. If you would like to know more I guess you'll have to buy a copy of The Thousand Islands Sun.

The Thousand Islands Sun has been published every week since 1901. It is available at many local retailers throughout the North Country.

If you don't live in the area you can of course get a subscription by simply giving them a call.
