I've spent the last few days making calls trying to organize some people to help me put a real tree up this year for Christmas.

It seems I no longer have to worry about it. Thanks to a tree donation and the quick actions of our local D.P.W. it's done, the Christmas Tree is up !!

So here is how it went down according to acting D.P.W. Supervisor Greg Millet.

William & Winifred Coombs of 50 High St had a tree that needed to come down because it was going into the power lines. They donated the tree to the village and the D.P.W. put it up in a matter of hours.

This is really great !! This looks so much better than that awful looking teepee thing we had there last year and best of all we didn't have to kill a tree for no good reason.
