Two women arrested in probe of thefts in Alex Bay

ALEXANDRIA BAY, NY — Theft suspect became theft victim in the investigation of a get-even crime that the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department closed Tuesday with the arrests of two women.

"Melissa A. Thomson, 41, of 78 Anthony St., an owner of Pine Tree Point Resort, and Narelle F. Rufa, 42, of 14 High St., were arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny, second-degree coercion and second-degree criminal trespass. They were released by town of Watertown Justice James P. McClusky without bail and await grand jury action."
