Yesterday (02/04/2014) my friend Bryan Tidd of Alexandria Bay, NY hooked a massive 14.1 lb 31 inch Walleye while ice fishing in the Mighty Saint Lawrence River..

Actual location has been blurred from the photo background as this fishing spot is secret.. but the fish is very real..

And if you didn't know.. Walleye's are usually around 4-9 lbs here so this truly is a monster fish.. The record in NY state is 16lb 9oz at 34 inches so Tidd's fish was damn near a record breaker..
